Paragon CT102322 Janus – Your Complete Studio Solution for Both Ceramics and Glass

Built on the Ceramic Top legacy—redefined with Janus dual-mode versatility.

The Paragon CT Series—short for Ceramic Top—offers unmatched reliability, thoughtful design, and robust performance trusted by artists and educators around the world. With the Paragon CT102322 Janus, you get all the benefits of the best-selling CT102322 model—plus the power to fire both pottery and glass in one intelligently engineered kiln.

Equipped with top and sidewall heating elements and a manual switch to control firing modes, the Janus edition allows you to seamlessly shift between glass and ceramic work depending on your creative needs.

Why choose the Paragon CT102322 Janus?
The CT102322 Janus features a 10-sided round chamber with an interior diameter of 23” and a height of 22”, for a spacious 5.10 cubic feet of firing volume. The kiln’s wide diameter makes it ideal for firing plates, platters, or larger batch loads, while its moderate depth ensures easy access and efficient stacking. It’s the perfect centerpiece for any busy ceramics or mixed-media studio.

Janus Firing: Dual Modes for Maximum Flexibility
The standout feature of this model is its Janus dual firing system:

Glass Mode: activates the top and middle sidewall elements—perfect for fusing, slumping, or sagging large glass designs evenly across a single shelf.

Pottery Mode: activates only the sidewall elements—for even, surround heating ideal for bisque, glaze, or high-fire cone 10 ceramics.

With a flip of the switch, you can move between clay and glass without needing separate equipment. This is the ultimate kiln for artists who work in multiple mediums, or institutions that want to offer both without doubling their investment.
